Verna Myers tells us that “Diversity is being invited to the party; inclusion is being asked to dance.” In that light, given the opportunity, I would like to work collaboratively to focus on supporting the unique strengths and abilities of all students in the education system, creating safe and inclusive schools and classrooms, as well as working with parents and the dedicated teams of teachers and staff who continue to develop their professional expertise and give so generously of their time.
